So it's been 4 days since my parents went to Australia.I've been coping with the quietness by meeting friends and family, and going out of the house now and then. And switching on either the TV or radio in between.

It's a bit scary when I go out because the crime rate in Wangsa Baiduri is so high.Somemore now is the festive season. Currently there's a warning letter to the residents stuck in the elevator telling us to lock up our units properly. So I feel a bit better because my neighbours know my parents are out.But somehow I feel that the guards shouldn't know, since the robberies are rumoured to be inside jobs.

As for food, as planned, i'm eating frozen food that my mom prepared. And some canned food as well.Currently eating a lot of mushroom soup( I added mushrooms and spices by myself, and that's as far as my cooking skills go).But when there's only 1 person eating, I have to keep remembering how long the food's been in the refrigerator or out in the open air and the expiry date of the food i buy in case I end  up eating spoilt food. I already had food poisoning in Hanoi so I'm 'out of quota'.

Besides that I've been keeping myself busy doing Jason's assignments. I dunno if that's a happy or sad thing, because I feel less lonely when I'm engrossed in my work, listening to stupid jokes on MixFM, but then again it doesn't really feel like a holiday, just a work leave*.

*On a side note, the word 'work leave' reminds me of 'study leave', the catch phrase circa SPM year, which is basically a geek's version of ponteng sekolah.

College starts again next week. My first class is on Tuesday evening it seems. I hope it's not so hectic this term, but a senior says it's the term where a lot of people fail...OMG...actually I'm quite scared of this year's college life. Cannot fail the 2nd and 3rd terms also because we are having one continuous project over those 2 terms. I wonder what the college does to those who do fail...I guess forced regrouping for the final project...unless the whole group fails together-gether DX.

I seem to be having 4 subjects this term; business, animation, after effects, and that camcorder subject, or at least according to Yilyn. It sounds alright as of this moment when I dunno anything about the course outlines.Except for animation because the seniors' work looks intimidating.OMG...I think/hope I should survive this term, but i've got to get rid of the habit of compulsive panicking.Especially in the evening, i always panic in the evening whether or not i have a reason to, as long as I have assignments.

So I think that is my only new year resolution- to stop panicking all the time. But also at the same time not ignoring my college work.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!!
yeah, I know i'm 2 days late.
