I finally found out who's the male singer in this song:Jose Cura. I was thinking it was one of the 3 tenors for ages...
Damn...I like this song.

PS: ignore the graphics.I'm not much into fans making their little slideshow videoclips.

Another nice duet.

Yesterday I watched Coraline at last. I don't think they're showing it in cinemas here tho. Malaysian cinemas suck like that.

It's based on a story by Neil Gaiman( who wrote Mirrormask and the Sandman series) and directed by Henry Selick (who worked on Nightmare before Christmas). So I guess you know which direction it's going to take,lol. The theme is more or less the same with Mirrormask, about a child not valuing their parents enough. I think it was pretty good, eventhough at first i was a bit disappointed that the style was not Dave McKean's(Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean's styles are liek a match made in heaven or something) but in the end the style they ended up using was pretty effective as well. It's in stopmotion animation BTW. But i like the character design, especially the circus mice for some weird reason. Check out the part where paper mice float out of the door. I like that part particularly for some reason.

Here's kind of an update of what's been happening in my life. Since I've been like on a semi-hiatus status lately. For all my online accounts D8.

My mom is in Australia (since last week) for anywhere between 3 to 6 months to help look after my niece. The child minder is still not able to offer any space and my sis is going back to work on Monday. Sohs it's me and my dad at home only. Oh yeah...there always seems to be access lodging in my home... We've been dividing cooking and cleaning duties between the 2 of us. And we are not dead yet. I tried making dinner today, spaghetti using mushroom soup as a sauce. There's...er...a lot of room for improvement.

~~~~~~~
Also, last Thursday, I got my photo taken for the college's Student transformation booklet. It was kind of weird because they took my pic in the gallery. And in the background was all Kinsun's artwork. "Yeah, man. They're all mine. My illustration techniques rocks."
~~~~~~~

And also, preproduction for our final project has started. I hope we can do well. Hope there won't be much politics or competition within class. I think there are 5 groups of 5 or 6 people each. That's quite a lot if you consider the seniors usually have around 3 groups only.

I found an interesting art blog here.

thought you guys might wanna check it out.It's got some pretty creative stuff, some are funny, some inspiring

Self glorifying post.

This was what I was up to today. Still a work in progress, but i'm happy to see that something actually realistic looking is being formed.

I got the tutorial from the Gnomon website. It's a video tute, which I was hesitant to try at first, but now i think it's better because then you get to learn some incidental info that you wouldn't normally associate with the actual lesson.

Another movie to recommend-Amelie.
Too bad that not all the parts are on youtube, but I like the introduction. Very creative and slightly surrealistic with a lot of dark humour.

It is about a girl who grew up without any childhood friends,thus she has a very strong imagination. When she grows up, she makes it her purpose in life to make other people happy, but she herself is always lonely.

OK, fine, that wasn't a very good summary. Wikipedia it if you want the full story.
