I just found out the translations for Caruso.I think it's quite a famous song, seems like it's compulsory for all opera singers to sing this song...(Josh Groban,Andrea Bocelli,Lara Fabian,Luciano Pavarotti)but the lyrics are nice
Here, where the sea shines
and the wind howls,
on the old terrace
beside the gulf of Sorrento,
a man embraces a girl
after the tears,
then clears his throat
and contines the song:
I love you very much
very, very much, you know;
it is a chain by now
that heats the blood inside the veins,
you know...
He saw the lights out on the sea,
thought of the nights there in America,
but they were only the fishermen's lamps
and the white wash astern.
He felt the pain in the music
and stood up from the p iano,
but when he saw the moon
emergin from a cloud,
death also seemed sweeter to him.
He looked the girl in the eyes,
those eyes as green as the sea.
Then suddenly a tear fell
and he believed he was drowning.
I love you very much,
very, very much, you know;
it is a chain by now
that heats the blood inside the veins,
you know...
The power of opera,
where every drama is a hoax;
with a little make-up and with mime
you can become someone else.
But two eyes that look at you,
so close and real,
make you forget the words,
confuse your thoughts,
so everything becomes small,
also the nights there in America.
You turn and see your life
through the white wash astern.
But, yes, it is life that ends
and he did not think much about it,
on the contrary, he already felt happy
and continued his song:
I love you very much,
very, very much, you know;
it is a chain by now
that heats the blood inside the veins,
you know...

Qui dove il mare luccica,
E tira forte vento
Sulla vecchia terazza
Davanti al golfo di surriento
Un uomo abbraccia una ragazza
Dopo che aveva pianto
Poi si sciarisce la voce
E ricomincia il canto
Te voglio bene assai
Ma tanto tanto bene sai
?una cantena ormai
Che sciogliei sangue dint'e vene sai...
Vide le luci in mezzo al mare
> Pens?alle notti l?in merica
Ma erano solo le lampare
E la bianca scia di un'elica
Sent?il dolore nella musica
E si alz?dal pianoforte
Ma quando vide uscire
La luna da una nuvola
Gli sembro pi?dolce anche la morte
Guard?negli occhi la ragazza
Quegli occhi verdi come il mare
Poi all'improvisso usci una lacrima
Cos?vicini e veri
Ti fan scordare le parole
Confondono i pensieri
Cos?diventa tutto piccolo
Anche le notti l?in merica
Ti volti e vedi la tua vita
Dietro la scia di un'elica
Ma s? ?la vita che finisce
E non ci penso poi tanto
Anzi si sentiva gi?felice
E ricomincio il suo canto
Te voglio bene assai
Ma tanto tanto bene sai
?una cantena ormai
Che sciogliei sangue dint'e vene sai...

Dunno why nowadays I always feel tired, eventhough I'm not taking the western medicine for cough anymore.See ar,my schedule is liddet one: at night sleep for 8 hours, then when the alarm clock rings, switch off and sleep another 1 1/2 hours.Later in the afternoon sleep another 1 hour.So everyday I sleep 10 1/2 hours and I still feel tired...Maybe my sick days punya time schedule stuck already, after being sick for 1 week...

I'm currently too lazy to do my Flash assignment,so I'm lepaking on youtube and 'doing research' for violin *ahak*.
Anyways...this guy just looks so happy playing his violin.lol.He's Itzhak Perlman,BTW. He played alongside Yoyo Ma for the Memoirs of a Geisha soundtracks.I just found out about him.
In other news,I just found out those songs that I like so much but until just now remained unidentified are actually played by Bond.
Allegretto.Otherwise known as Palladio, composed by Karl Jenkins for the DeBeers diamond advertisement

I'm typing this now at 1.28am because I cannot sleep.I think I've been sleeping too much already. The reason being that I was sick this whole weekend,so I ended up sleeping/attempting to sleep for half the day.Have fever/cough/runny nose/dizziness/rashes and now I think I'm going to get a sore throat and/or puke soon.On Saturday I was in bed from 6pm until the next day, pressing a cold towel to my forehead without any significant outcome other that making me feel marginally more 'comfortable' but worsening my rashes.

Yesterday I passed by a ballet academy near my cousin's house. It was called the Nutcracker.I understand the whole Tchaikovsky theme going on in there, but I think that Nutcracker is generally not a good name if you are looking forward to at least some male ballet dancers singing up for lessons.

Sohs I was asking around about the cost of violin lessons. It should be around RM80 per month for 1/2 lessons once a week for beginners.Sounds quite expensive actually if you concider it's rm20 for every lesson. But it's standard.Seems that 8th grade piano costs RM300,so don't complain now.As for the violin itself,it's minimum rm200 for a cheap one.Books and exam I dunno how much lah.
