Free advertising for my graduation batch.
Here's our logo; B71. My version of it anyways.
We'll be doing some public art later in the year. Animation students will be making an interactive sketchbook which the public can draw in, that will be placed around college (mainly for other students to get to know about our campaign).

For outside college artworks, there are 2 groups. Group 1 will be doing a public interaction animation which people can participate in. They can pose some keyframes which we will guide them to do, and we will shoot their picture, in the end making a sort of stop motion animation composed of several different people.

The second group (mine) will be doing public graffitti with the topic of 'how to solve public problems', for instance, double parking or snatch thieves.

Of course, the last 2 are subject to approval which we are trying to get now. The public artworks are planned to be placed around Sunway area. So look out for us.

~~~~~
Also, if you happen to be around Pyramid area tomorrow, feel free to stop by One Academy, because we will be having our final day of Food Fundraising, and also we will be having a garage sale.
Yay! I finally tried henna on my own hand. Here is the result.
Closeup
My whole arm
And the back. The character says "Om"
Took me 1 hour to draw the pattern and then i wrapped up my arm(using medical tape and a long sock) and let it soak into my skin overnight. The colour is supposed to darken over the next 2 days, but I dunno if that's true.
OK, so this Friday it will be me and a few of my classmates' turn to run the fundraising booth for Graduation Campaign. The goal is to raise money to promote our art and portfolio to the public. And apparently others have been doing quite well, with the most so far standing at RM1000 raised.
Everyone has been selling food so far, so my group is going to do something a little special this time. Besides food, we'll be having a sort of funfare concept with a few games included. Here's our list of offerings:
Food:
- barbequed hot dogs
- carrot cake (by me)
- taufu fah
- noodles and some other mamak food (i think, provided by Najib)
- longan punch
Games:
-Wacky wire (the game where you try to run the ring around some loops without touching the wire)
And we will also be having henna drawing, done by me and another classmate.
So please feel free to meet us at the entrance of The One Academy on the 23rd of Oct, 9am onwards, it'll be fun!
Also, on that evening,the college will be hosting a Halloween party, so stick around for that as well, dress up as your favourite ghost or ghoul, and if you aren't one of the college students, doesn't matter, we can smuggle you into the party anyways-free entry-and we can lmao at the people taking part in the costume competition or pumpkin carving competition.(they only use papercraft blades, so it'll be fun to sit and laugh at them while they sweat over their pumpkins)
~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, while shopping for cake ingredients, i saw some henna on sale, so i bought 2 boxes for the event.

And to help psych you up, here are some nice henna designs I found online. I'm so going to make one for myself as well.

So, see you there!

Sohs as you guys know, Deepavali is this Saturday. So if any of you have some Hindu friends but haven't gotten round to greeting card shopping, I made a card for the festival. You can download it and print if you like. And photoshop off my website address if it's distracting. The folding line for the card is where the background pattern stops. And the Happy Deepavali part is the inside of the card, so print it on the opposite side of the paper.

Yay, finished modeling and texturing the lamproom.

1 down, 2 more texturing to go.

Quiz of the day:

Why is it easier to read (or at least recommended to use)san-serif when you are using a computer, but easier to read serif when it's on a book?It's true, check any book and any website.

Don't ask me for the answer, i also dunno. Maybe it's all a hoax O_O

Random moment:

OMG it's Rum Tum Tugger!

BTW for those who don't know, he's a character from Cats.Ironically eventhough the character is supposed to be a playboy, the real life dancer is supposed to be gay. Oh noes...
